About Me

Hi, I'm Evan. 

Ever since high school I have been interested in ceramics, both as a way to connect with my environment and as a creative outlet. I am a planetary scientist by trade, and being able to make my geology background come to life through the clay and glaze reactions never ceases to bring me joy. 

Now, having recently moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in California, I am getting more involved in the local art scene and selling my products. I am most interested in creating versatile, functional pottery decorated with deep, fluid glazing techniques. I specialize in the mid-fire range and use a variety of clays and glazes to define my style. Everything is food safe/oven safe/dishwasher safe unless otherwise specified.
